How to Know if Your Hormones are Imbalanced

Updated: Mar 16, 2022

If you're feeling awesome, digestion is great, skin is clear, you're looking your best, then it's pretty likely that your hormones are balanced. On the flip side, if you're anything like me, you've experienced more than a few symptoms that have indicated your hormones are totally out of whack.

Hormone imbalance can create a range of symptoms like fatigue, irritability, irregular periods, weight gain, cravings, bloating, poor sleep, anxiety, and just feeling like something is “off.”

I personally love testing for hormonal imbalance. You can test hormones through blood work, saliva and urine. You can ask your doctor for blood work as a baseline to test hormones and if you're looking for something more in depth I recommend the DUTCH test.

Do you experience any of the following symptoms?

  • Low sex drive

  • Irregular periods

  • Painful periods

  • Heavy periods

  • Bloating

  • Breast swelling and tenderness

  • Fibrocystic breasts

  • PMS

  • PCOS

  • Endometriosis

  • Fibroids

  • Headaches

  • Migraine

  • Moodiness

  • Weigh gain

  • Hair loss

  • Poor sleep

  • Energy issues

  • Slow metabolism

  • Thyroid dysfunction

  • Cold hands and feet

  • Brain fog

  • Poor immune system
